The TD1000 drop hammer rig consists of a 1.0 tonne robust post drop hammer mounted on a rubber track crawler base. It has the capability to install 150mm to 300mm diameter permanent steel cased piles to a required depth with an internal drop hammer weight. The versatile design and powerful PL5B winch allows for various drop hammer weights, up to a maximum of 1000kg to be used. The TD1000 rig has the added advantage of having an extendable mast which can be adjusted to enable work in a limited/restricted headroom of 2.48 metres. When permitted the TD1000 will open up to a maximum width of 1210mm and 3480mm in height. The telescopic mast can be adjusted to operate within a range of -5 to + 75 degrees. A specially designed accumulator is fitted to the mast to protect the rig from shock and vibration during the piling
